I’d like to suggest a new feature for NocoDB that could enhance user workflow and efficiency.
Currently, after a successful submission, NocoDB offers three options:
- “Stay on the current popup or page”: To insert another data entry.
- “Return to the previous popup or page” (default option).
- “Redirect to another link”.
I propose adding a fourth option: “Redirect to a new form” with the last inserted data as “Current Record” (similar to Edit Form/Detail behaviour).
This option would allow users to seamlessly transition to a new form while retaining the context of the last inserted record. It would be particularly useful in workflows where related data needs to be entered across multiple forms, and the last inserted record serves as a reference or parent record.
I’d love to hear the community’s thoughts on this and whether the maintainers would consider implementing it.
