Follow the official upgrade documentation and upgrade directly to the latest version. Back up your database before upgrading.

That’s okay, but the sub-apps weren’t migrated. If we upgrade to 2.0, will the free sub-apps plugin still work, or do we need to upgrade it first?

You can continue using the free sub-application plugins if you don’t delete them.

However, to avoid similar connection issues in the future and to simplify my overall architecture, I have decided that I want to migrate my entire setup into a single, unified application and stop using the sub-applications altogether.

Could you please guide me on the best approach to achieve this? Specifically, I need help with the following:

  1. Export/Import Configurations: Is there a recommended way or a built-in tool to export all the collections, blocks, and UI configurations from my current sub-apps and import them cleanly into the main application?
  2. Data Migration: Since my sub-apps currently reside in separate schemas (mantenimientotmb, bitacora, and proyectos), what would be the safest process to merge the actual data from those schemas into the main database structure without losing any information?

Any documentation, scripts, or step-by-step guidance you can provide to handle this migration smoothly would be greatly appreciated.

You can directly back up and restore the database, and then deploy NocoBase separately to connect to the database.

Hi.

Every time I perform a NocoBase upgrade, the sub-apps stop working. While the main application works perfectly, all sub-apps return an error stating: “The database [database_name] does not exist.” It seems the upgrade process is not correctly mapping or migrating the database connections for the sub-applications managed by the Multi-app plugin.
