Hi @support ,
I hope you’re doing well!
I would like to ask if there is a way to see the history of field value changes in NocoBase.
For example:
- When someone updates a record, I want to track which field was changed, what the old value was, what the new value is, and who made the change.
- Also, the timestamp of each change.
I read that field-level history might be available only in the Enterprise Edition.
However, I am currently using the Community Edition, and I would like to know:
- Is there any way to achieve this in the Community Edition?
- Maybe with plugins, custom configuration, or any workaround?
If there is a way (even partially), a step-by-step guide would be highly appreciated!
Thank you very much for your support!
This feature will only be included in the enterprise edition. It wouldn’t be easy to implement in the community edition, but you could consider developing a plugin for it yourself.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I just wanted to ask — is there any existing plugin or workflow that could help with this?
As a new business, we’re currently unable to afford the Enterprise Edition, and we only need to track two fields (Price and Quantity).
Also, is there a platform where we can request new plugins or possibly purchase third-party plugins compatible with NocoBase?
I appreciate your support and guidance!
If you only have a fixed set of fields you want to track and don’t need an interface to manage what’s tracked and what is not, you can put together a trigger on the database that will keep track of changes. I can help you with that if you don’t have the expertise in-house - feel free to contact me (click on my name on the post).
