How to migrate schema changes from dev to production without affecting production data?

Hi,

I have two environments:

  • Production: Real customer data
  • Dev (local): Cloned from production, with new fields/tables added via NocoBase UI

I want to apply only the schema changes (new fields, new tables) from dev to production — without touching production data.

I tried using pg_dump --schema-only + migra to diff and generate SQL, but the problem is NocoBase’s internal tables (fields, collections, uiSchemas) are not updated, so NocoBase UI doesn’t recognize the new fields.

Questions:

  1. What is the recommended way to do this?
  2. Does Migration Manager handle this use case?
  3. Is there a way to export only NocoBase config (collections, fields, UI) without data?
