I noticed that when configuring Field Linkage Rules on the version 2 (Modern) page, one parameter, “value,” is not displayed, where you can configure both a constant and a dynamic value based on the expression builder.
This option is available in version 1 (Classic).
Please tell me, has this not been implemented for version 2 yet? And will this feature be available for version 2 at all? It is a very convenient and powerful feature, and it is missing in the new version.
@hongboji, yes, I saw this option, but I can’t create an arbitrary mathematical expression, for example, in the Number field.
On the Classic page, in the field for constructing expressions, I can manually add a “continuation” to the formula.
In Modern, I can only select a value from another field, but I can’t “continue” the formula. Anything I enter after the selected value from another field disappears.
I noticed that your test platform has a slightly different design for assigning field values, but there I also cannot add an arbitrary expression to the numerical “formula.”
Yes, assignment does not currently support expressions; the 2.0 feature is still under development and testing.

This is a very important feature, and because of it, I am unable to start building an application using the new and powerful potential of Modern Pages (version 2)… But the functionality for building expressions, as implemented in version 1, is also necessary, because it is also a very important and irreplaceable no-code feature. I cannot build an expression in a specially designed setting, as is easily implemented in Classic, for example:
I am trying to do this in the Modern version, but builsing the expression failed… The field allows you to select only one value, but does not allow you to build an expression.
I would be very grateful if this functionality were included in the priority implementation! I think not only I, but also other users need it.
