I am a new user of Nocobase and currently evaluating Nocobase v2. A lot of the documentation and training material on the site is referring to version 1 of Nocobase. It appears a lot has changed between v1 and v2 of Nocobase so finding it difficult to understand some of the slightly more complex ideas from the existing documentation and material.
I am willing to pay to get one on one training from an experienced community member who can help me understand the platform better and teach me the correct nocobase v2 way of doing things.
Perhaps help me build a small prototype application. Like a basic invoice processing application or something similar
If you interested in teaching me then I would love to hear from you!
There are some differences in V2 but I would say you get used to them pretty quickly. The main thing is that some functionality from V1 is currently missing in V2. There is a good blog post on the nocobase blog with a fairly complete overview. I would suggest you have a look at that first and see if that helps. Also, there are V2 docs available and they are easy to copy and paste into chatgpt or claude if you have questions about them. I would be open to providing some one on one coaching if needed but honestly I think experimenting is probably the best way to learn.
As a complete newbie, making sense of the all the info from the various sources especially when its disjointed is overwhelming! Video tutorial is in v1, documentation in v1 and v2. Some features are not yet available in v2 that were there in v1 - so making sense of all this is seriously slowing the learning curve. On top of that ChapGPT hallucinates and provides responses that dont even exist on the platform! I have been experimenting over the last two weeks and managed to figure out some basics but not sure if I am doing it the “nocobase way”. Having a “guru” shine the light on the right path would make the journey a lot easier, fun and interesting to push ahead!
